MOSCOW, April 27 (Itar-Tass) – RIA Novosti. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin signed a law, according to which the time for voting in the elections in the capital is extended for two hours.

According to the document, in the elections of the Moscow mayor, Moscow City Duma deputies and local self-government bodies, polling stations will work for two hours longer – until 22.00.
In addition, this law granted the Public Chamber of Moscow the right to appoint observers to election commissions in elections.
The law also provides for reducing the number of voter signatures required to register candidates for the post of mayor of Moscow, from 1% to 0.5%.
Previously, these amendments were supported by the Moscow City Duma.
