Russia intends to raise a new bomber-missile carrier into the air

Kazan Aviation Plant intends to lift in August a supersonic bomber-missile carrier Tu-22M3M, which is a new modification of the Tu-22M3, reports RIA News” statement of the representative of the enterprise.

“We intend to lift the Tu-22M3M in the air in August,” he said.

Tu-22M3 is a long-range multimode bomber-missile carrier designed to destroy ground and sea targets from large, medium and small heights. It was adopted in 1989. It is the most massive bomber of long-range aviation, all produced 268 aircraft of this modification. The Tu-22M3 bombers participated in air strikes against terrorists in Syria.

Earlier it was reported that in St. Petersburg will be launched a new-generation mine craft.
