The Anti-Doping Expert Group continues investigations related to anti-doping rule violations by Russian biathlete Ekaterina Glazyrina, as well as Slovenia’s Thei Gregorin.
Glazyrina was suspended from appearances on February 10, 2017 on the basis of the report of the independent commission of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) under the direction of Richard McClaren. It was reported that Glazyrina could have been involved in doping machinations during the Sochi 2014 Games.
In December last year it became known that the Gregorin test from Vancouver-2010 gave a positive result on the metabolite GHRP-2 (growth hormone). Her results from the 2010 Olympics were canceled.
