COPENHAGEN, May 3. / TASS /. Striker of the Russian National Hockey Team and National Hockey League club "Chicago" Artem Anisimov hopes that he will still be able to play with former teammate Artemy Panarin. He told journalists about this.
Panarin was exchanged from "Chicago" at "Columbus" before the current season. Because of injury, the striker, with a high probability, will not play at the World Championships. "When I found out that he would not come, he was upset. Maybe we can still play", – he said.
Anisimov participated in the match of the 2013 World Cup with the French, when on May 9 the Russian team led by Zinetula Bilyaletdinova lost with a score of 1: 2. "I remember playing in that match, you have to be very serious. We need to play strictly on the defensive and realize our moments, then we simply did not realize them", – said Anisimov.
"After the victory at the Olympics, the Russian national hockey team is afraid of everyone"
Also the opinion about the first days of the stay of the national team in Denmark was shared by its defender Vladislav Gavrikov. "All great, great conditions. Guys all know each other, but they also trained together. The requirements of Vorobyov (acting head coach of the Russian national team – TASS commentary) are understandable, if earlier it was a bit heavy, now after several sessions it became easier", – said the hockey player.
"Each coach has its own details. You should always take games seriously, there are no trifles. World Cup – a fleeting tournament, any detail and error can be very expensive", – concluded Gavrikov.
The Russian team will play against the French on May 4 in the opening match of the tournament, beginning – 17:30 Moscow time.
