TASS, April 27. Club of the Continental Hockey League (KHL) "Torpedo" from Nizhny Novgorod, appointed to the post of general director of the club, Ian Golubovsky. The press service of the club reports.

In this position, Golubovsky replaced Viktor Kharitonov, who led the team for the past four seasons. Previously "Torpedo" approved Golubovsky in his new position as general manager of the team.

"HK "Torpedo" thanks Viktor Vladimirovich [Kharitonov] for sincere and conscientious work for the benefit of the Nizhny Novgorod club, to which he gave more than twenty years of his life", – said in a statement of the press service.

Golubovsky as a player played for the teams of the National Hockey League (NHL) "Detroit" and "Florida". After the end of sports career, he was engaged in development of players and selection work in "New York Islanders", he was also involved in managerial work in Swedish and Austrian clubs.
