Efimova became the second in the Russian swimming championship at a distance of 200 m breaststroke

MOSCOW, April 24. / TASS /. Yulia Yefimova took second place at 200 m breaststroke at the Russian Swimming Championships in Moscow. The athlete showed a result of 2 minutes 24.02 seconds.

The winner of the competition was Vitalina Simonova (2.23.67), the third was Darya Chikunova (2.25,92).

At a distance of 100 m on the back, Daria Ustinova won (59.73), Maria Kameneva and Anastasia Fesikova (59.94) shared the second place. Alexander Sadovnikov (51.67) took the first place among men in the 100 m butterfly race, the second – Daniil Pakhomov (51.96), the third – Andrei Minakov (51,99).

The championship of Russia will end on April 25. As a result of the tournament, the national team will be determined for the European Championship, which will be held from 2 to 12 August in Glasgow.
